Dr Burgess has been a GP for 16 years and a partner at Giffords for 9 years. She works full time at the practice, is a GP trainer and carries a role in managing the practice. Dr Burgess has a special interest in Dermatology. In addition, she performs joint injections, minor skin operations and fits contraceptive Implants and coils. Outside of the practice she sits on the LMC (Local Medical Committee) committee taking a role in wider GP politics.
