You can request a repeat prescription using the online form, computer slip attached to your previous prescription, in writing via a letter, or filling in a request form from the Surgery, making sure to include your personal details and listing all medication required
All requests, however they come to us, we will aim to process and have ready for collection after two working days. (If your prescription has a query or your medication needs to be reviewed by a doctor it will take a little longer.)
The surgery cannot deal with requests over the telephone.

Your prescription can be sent to any pharmacy in the town for collection, but please note that you will need to allow an extra working day for it to reach the chemist. Please indicate on your request where you would like your prescription to go.

NEW SERVICE
If you or someone you care for, use the same medicines regularly, you may be able to benefit from repeat dispensing from the pharmacist. This means you won't have to visit the surgery or make an appointment to see the doctor or practice nurse every time you need more medicine. If you are interested in this scheme, ask your GP or the practice nurse next time you visit the surgery or pick up a leaflet at reception.
